Winter Projects

I don't know if I ever mentioned that I almost always craft at my computer desk. I often see beautiful studio and craft room pictures and ideas and wish my craft room looked so organized. Well it doesn't! It is a catch all for everything no one knows where to put away. I am sure everyone has a room like that (except maybe my friend Kristi) so I have settled for the computer desk.

I have been working on a few projects out of wool felt now that we are in the winter months. I fell about a week and half ago so I have been off work enjoying the time with my family and crafting.

I have lots of ideas in my head but I just wish I could sew better. Any one up for teaching me the trick to sew in a straight line? lol

I free handed some embroidery on this little felt square that I knew would end up a cover for a needle case or sachet. Zig Zagged the edges and made a mistake on the bottom corner. Even though I pulled it out and retried 3 times I could not get a straight line! Now what? I had already trimmed and there was nothing left of felt to cut away. Now to cover it up?

I found this little tiny blue rick rack that will match the little blue bird. Now just to stitch it on. By hand of course. I might be able to handle
